Google launches a feature to convert photos to videos.

Google announced today, Friday, the availability of the "Photo to Video" feature via its artificial intelligence robot, Gemini, in the Middle East and North Africa. This feature enables users to transform their favorite photos into 8-second animated videos, with the ability to add audio and visual effects.

The new feature will be available to Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers starting today across the region, as part of Google's efforts to provide advanced creative tools for content creators and creators.

Users can take advantage of this feature by selecting "Videos" from the tools menu in the input field, then uploading a still image and adding a text description of the desired scene, along with selecting voice commands, if available.

Gemini then creates a complete video with visual movement and synchronized audio, allowing creators to animate everyday objects, bring drawings and paintings to life, or simulate natural scenes.

In a related development, Google announced the launch of Flow in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Available in Arabic, Flow is the first AI-powered filmmaking tool specifically designed to leverage advanced models such as Veo, Imagen, and Gemini. The tool allows users to produce professional cinematic scenes with ease and flexibility.

Flow includes professional features such as camera control to adjust movement and shooting angles, a Scenebuilder editor for seamlessly editing or extending scenes, and content management tools that facilitate the organization of elements and guidelines for each project.

According to Google's official statement, the Gemini and Flow platforms have recorded more than 40 million videos created using Veo 3 in the past seven weeks alone, reflecting the growing demand for AI creative tools.
