Saudi football club Al-Nassr announced today the renewal of the contract of its Portuguese international star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Saudi club stated in a statement on the X platform that Ronaldo renewed his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023, and his contract was scheduled to expire next Monday. He had not won any Saudi or Asian titles with the team since joining the club.
Ronaldo has scored 93 goals with Al-Nassr in all competitions, and has been awarded the Saudi Professional League's top scorer award for two consecutive seasons. He also holds the record for the most goals scored in a single season.
Ronaldo will participate with his country's national team in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, and is aiming to reach his 1,000th career goal for both club and country.
