Chelsea wins the Club World Cup for the second time in its history

English club Chelsea won the Club World Cup for the second time in its history, after defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final of the tournament in the United States on Sunday.

The English team's three goals were scored by Cole Palmer (22nd and 30th minutes) and Joao Pedro (43rd minute).

Chelsea delivered an effective performance, enabling them to decide the match in one half, capitalizing on three opportunities and scoring three goals, demonstrating the effectiveness of their attack and their high concentration throughout the match.

On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain, the European Champions League champions, lacked effectiveness and speed in their performance and faced defensive difficulties, as their players committed several errors and were hasty in exploiting scoring opportunities. The team's woes deepened after they finished the match with ten men following João Neves's expulsion in the 86th minute.

Chelsea's second title in their history, following the 2022 edition, is an achievement that cements their position among the world's top clubs, as they now have the third-most Club World Cup titles, behind Barcelona, who are second with three titles, and Real Madrid, who are leaders with a record five.
