A new operating system has been developed that enables robots to communicate in human language.

Experts at the Skoltech Institute in Russia have developed a new system for operating intelligent robots, machines equipped with artificial intelligence capable of thinking and making independent decisions without human intervention.

The software designed by the experts allows robots, when teamed together to solve a common problem, to communicate using simple human language. This feature is beneficial for the user, as it enables them to control the robots' behavior and make necessary adjustments when needed. Data exchange between the robots currently occurs primarily via Wi-Fi.

The experts explained that these robots do not have a precisely defined work program, but rather are characterized by their ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments and perform general tasks. They can be assigned any task and will find ways to perform it independently.

In this regard, Dmitry Teteryoko, Director of the Intelligent Space Robotics Laboratory at Skoltech, said that these robots communicate using the same human language we speak, and this constitutes a common system that allows machines and humans to coexist and communicate easily.

He pointed out that the "CognitiveOS" operating system, which enables robots to speak human language, can be installed on most types of robots, and that multiple robots can be combined into a single team to collaborate on tasks.
