At least 935 people were killed in Iran during its 12-day war with Israel, Iranian state media reported Monday, about a week after a ceasefire took effect.
"During the 12-day war waged by the Zionist regime against our country, 935 martyrs have been identified so far," the official IRNA news agency quoted judiciary spokesman Asghar Jahangir as saying.
The toll includes 132 women and 38 children, according to Jahangir.
Israel began its attack on Iran on June 13 with bombing raids that killed scientists linked to Tehran's nuclear program and senior military officials.
The Israeli strikes targeted military bases, nuclear facilities, and residential areas across Iran.
Iran responded with waves of missile and drone strikes that targeted major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Haifa, killing 28 people, according to Israeli authorities.
A ceasefire between Iran and Israel went into effect on June 24.
