The Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and the FIFA U-17 World Cup announced that the draw for the two tournaments will be held next Sunday in Doha.
The committee stated in a statement that the ceremony represents a major milestone in the journey to host the two tournaments, adding that it will be attended by a number of football stars from Qatar, the region, and the world.
Sixteen Arab teams will participate in the Arab Cup, which will be held from December 1 to 18. Nine teams, including Morocco, qualified automatically based on their FIFA rankings, while the remaining seven teams will qualify through qualifiers to be held in November.
Forty-eight teams, including the Moroccan national team, are scheduled to participate in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Participants will play 104 matches over 25 days, with Qatar set to host five consecutive editions of the tournament until 2029.
