Crystal Palace, who finished runners-up twice in 1990 and 2016, are aiming to win their first trophy in their 119-year history.

Manchester City qualified for the final after defeating Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the semi-final, while Crystal Palace defeated Aston Villa 3-0 in the same round.

The match will be difficult for Crystal Palace, given Manchester City's experience, especially in finals. The recent history of the two teams' encounters also favors City, with five wins and two draws in the last seven matches. Crystal Palace's last victory dates back to October 2021, when they defeated them 2-0 in the league.
